Triangle Escape — Posture and Stack

In the Posture and Stack escape, the defender postures up while simultaneously stacking the opponent to break the triangle choke. Posturing reduces tension on the neck, while stacking applies downward pressure to the opponent’s legs, disrupting their angle. Once the opponent is stacked, the trapped arm can be freed, and the bottom player can either pass the legs or disengage entirely. This escape is effective against opponents who maintain a tight, closed triangle and prevents them from readjusting for submissions.
