Triangle Escape — Arm Inside Roll
The Arm Inside Roll escape involves rolling toward the trapped arm to relieve the pressure of the triangle. By turning toward the arm that’s inside the choke, the bottom player reduces the tension on the neck while creating an angle to slip the head free. This technique requires careful timing, as rushing the roll can tighten the choke. Often, combining a slight bridge with the roll helps create extra space to slide the arm out safely, especially against opponents with long legs or strong grips.
