Triangle Escape — Posture and Pull Arm
Posturing to pull the trapped arm focuses on regaining vertical alignment to relieve pressure. The bottom player first postures the torso upright to reduce the choke’s leverage, then carefully pulls the trapped arm across to create an opening. This method minimizes risk to the neck while directly addressing the source of the choke. Combining this with a slight hip shift or push against the opponent’s hips can make the escape faster and safer.
