Wrestling Shoes

Wrestling shoes are lightweight, flexible footwear designed to enhance traction and ankle stability during takedowns. While not standard in BJJ, they’re sometimes used in wrestling-focused drills or no-gi cross-training.

They provide grip advantages but are typically avoided in live BJJ rolling to protect mats and training partners.
