Mounted Triangle

The mounted triangle is a variation of the triangle choke executed from mount, where the attacker traps the opponent’s head and one arm between the legs. This submission restricts airflow or blood flow while combining positional dominance with a threatening attack.

From mount, adjustments to leg positioning and hip angle tighten the choke, forcing the opponent to defend while limiting escape. This variation allows follow-up attacks, such as armbars, creating multiple finish opportunities from a single dominant position.
