Fabrício Werdum

Fabrício Werdum (b. 1977) is a two-time ADCC champion and IBJJF World Champion who later transitioned to a highly successful MMA career, culminating in becoming the UFC Heavyweight Champion. A black belt under Sylvio Behring, Werdum became famous for his dangerous guard and submission skills, even against larger opponents.

In MMA, he cemented his reputation by defeating legends such as Fedor Emelianenko and Cain Velasquez. Werdum is often cited as one of the best heavyweight grapplers in history, equally respected in gi, no-gi, and MMA contexts.
