Beatriz Mesquita

Beatriz “Bia” Mesquita (b. 1991) is one of the most decorated female competitors in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu history. A black belt under Letícia Ribeiro, she has captured multiple IBJJF World Championships in both gi and no-gi, cementing her place among the all-time greats.

Mesquita is known for her dynamic guard game, relentless pace, and ability to finish matches with submissions. Beyond her personal achievements, she has become a role model and trailblazer for women in BJJ, helping inspire a new generation of female athletes to compete at the highest level.
