Cassio Cardoso

Cassio Cardoso (b. 1960s) is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt known for his technical skill and competitive history in the 1980s. He gained recognition through his rivalry with Rickson Gracie, which showcased his proficiency and contributed to the era’s evolving understanding of high-level BJJ competition.

Cardoso also served as a teacher and mentor, influencing students who continued the legacy of traditional Gracie-influenced BJJ.
