Granby Roll

The Granby roll is a dynamic inversion and rolling technique used to escape bad positions or reset from bottom. By rolling across the shoulders, practitioners create movement that disrupts an opponent’s control and opens paths to guard recovery or scrambles.

Beyond its escape applications, the Granby roll also builds agility, flexibility, and comfort with inverted movement. Regular practice makes athletes more unpredictable, adding a layer of fluidity to defensive and transitional grappling.
