Lasso to Side Control Sweep

This variation uses the lasso guard to sweep the opponent and establish side control instead of mount. By controlling the opponent’s arm and posture, the practitioner redirects their momentum to land across the opponent’s torso. The Lasso to Side Control Sweep is particularly effective when an opponent resists being mounted, offering a controlled top position while maintaining options for submissions or further transitions.
