Knee Shield Sweep
The Knee Shield Sweep employs the shin as a barrier to control distance while creating leverage to off-balance the opponent. From half guard, the practitioner uses the knee shield to elevate the opponent’s torso and sweep them, reversing positions. This sweep is highly effective against aggressive passers, as the knee shield both blocks forward pressure and sets up the practitioner for follow-up attacks or transitions.
