UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation (UAEJJ)
The UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation (UAEJJ) is the governing body for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in the United Arab Emirates. Closely associated with the UAEJJF, it oversees athlete development, national rankings, and major international competitions, most notably the Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship.
UAEJJ plays a critical role in professionalizing BJJ through prize money incentives, elite-level tournaments, and global promotion. The federation has also developed youth and educational programs to introduce the sport to schools and universities, broadening participation across age groups.
By partnering with international organizations like IBJJF and ADCC, UAEJJ ensures that UAE-based athletes compete at the highest level, while the federation’s support has contributed to the UAE becoming a central hub for international BJJ competition and training.
