Mount Escape — Up and Over / Up and Shrimp Roll
These escapes combine vertical bridging with rotational movement. The up-and-over roll elevates the hips and bridges toward the opponent’s head, rolling over to create space and escape mount. The up-and-shrimp roll adds a shrimping motion after the bridge to slide the hips out efficiently while maintaining defensive posture. These techniques are especially useful when the opponent applies strong chest pressure, as the combined upward and lateral movement counters weight effectively while minimizing exposure to attacks.
